A story is told from start to finish. The warmth emanating from a campfire signals intimacy, familiarity and home. Befallen by catastrophe, amidst the rubbles of houses that were once standing tall, a figure hides to survive, beginning a longstanding journey of one day sitting around a campfire again in a new-found home. The figure’s travels are arduous and take them far away. Along the journey they find different means of shelter, nesting themselves under an umbrella-tree to take cover from rain. They have found themselves in a destination populated by both the dolphin and the dragon, the chicken and the sheep, who work together to build a pyramid, helping each other climb higher and higher. As they rebuild their own world-order, the figure has found ‘home’ with the most unlikely of people in the most unlikely of places. A campfire is lit, a cycle is closed.
